I recently purchased a Creative Live! and it worked fine, but I am trying to mount it on my motorcycle. The day light provided by the outdoors seems to be too bright for the relativly slow shutter speed of the camera. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a cheap usb camera (preferrably with linux support under a $100) that has fast enough shutter speed for outdoors use. Also, a fast shutter speed would be good to elimate some blurring caused by the motorcycle vibrations. Thanks Twisted Evil

That's interesting.
How are you using your webcam? Do you use it to transmit pics on the move? Let me know you URL so I can see the action.
Sorry, I don't have an answer to your question about webcams.

I use the E-Tech USCM03 webcam. A great camera combined with this great application (Willing Webcam 3.7). The price of this camera is only $ 24,--. It's inluded a microphone.

I use the Logitech Pro 9000 series of cams. It handles daylight great and has an auto white balance with it's software. I highly recommend them.

The new C910 has great hi-def resolution but it's ability to adjust to daylight is not as good.

You can view my Logitech Pro 9000 cams in action at http://www.tomnliz.com/Livecam/
