This webcam image shows the (only) entrance to a property in New Zealand. During periods of heavy rain the river can flood making access and exit impossible.
The camera allows the state of the river to be monitored, as the house is several 100m away and out of view of the ford. The live webcam facility also allows the
river to be viewed from outside the property. But during storms the electricity and telephone lines sometimes go down which means the image is not available!
Still, it's better than nothing!

On my page, Willing Webcam is doing a beautiful job of driving a Kodak
DVC325 webcam. Since July 2000, a webcam has been shooting from my kitchen
window in the little village of Carcross in Canada's Yukon Territory, at
60° 10' N, 134° 42'W. Over the years the webcam, software and
server have all been updated several times, and it is now updating once a
minute. In the summer, you'll see a picture almost 24 hours a day (this is
The Land of the Midnight Sun), while in the winter you may only get an
image for about 7 hours. Linked from the main webcam page there is also an
archives page of webcam images taken throughout the year, and another page
of photos from the area.

Mowbray Golf Club was established in 1910. The club is recognized as being one of the best in South Africa with all major amateur championships having been played there. Set at the foot of Table Mountain, Mowbray Golf Club is renowned for its breathtaking views, lush fairways and immaculate greens.
There are a variety and abundance of birdlife clusters around the water features. Experience the pleasure of teeing off down newly mown fairways, bordered by tall pines and indigenous trees.

Last year a pair of Violet-green Swallows began moving into this nestbox on April 21. Five of six eggs hatched, and five young ones fledged on July 10. If they return in 2006 this camera will (we hope) provide a window into their world as they attempt a repeat performance.
Location: McMinnville, Yamhill County, Oregon, USA

The PINES CAM, located in Pembroke Pines, Florida, has been providing images of sky conditions over a wetland area since 1997. The most active weather conditions occur between May and October. In May of 2006, the City of Pembroke Pines will begin construction of its "City Center". This project will impact the wetlands. We invite you to watch as the area is transformed. The PINES CAM image and the Current Conditions update every 5 minutes between 7:30 AM and 8:30 PM Eastern Time.
